I think I need to take a short break from sifting. I have neglected the World of Warcraft for quite a while now (gasp!), and I NEED to get my 57 Lock to 70 asap! yes, I know, life is demanding...
Besides, it is REALLY hard to find non-posted cat videos!
Actually, it is summer, nice outside, and work and dogs take a huge chunks off my day already. The remaining time should be spend wisely and not fretting over if my videos get sifted or not.
I have been very lucky to find lots of nice videos that people have found interesting or funny enough to sift. I myself will vote for cat videos, music videos and anything else that just makes me go 'that's nice, I wish I had found and posted this!' And well, I do find lots of stuff that makes me go 'Cool, I found this first!' and then it gets about 2.1 votes.
Anyway.. I am not leaving the sift, I am just probably going to slow the heck down for a bit. I used to keep my unsifted queue full, but it will probably have only 1 or 2 videos there. Besides, my personal queue has 33 videos sitting in there, and I have lots of discarded posts. So, if I want to promote an old video of mine, I do have plenty to choose from (HINT! Please sift the little buggers that have 9 votes!!!!!)
I will renew my membership for sure. You have to support the sift! =)
I will be back, and sniff, I do miss having a spot in the top 15 - I can't tell you how happy I have been the last week: 100 gold, 3 popular videos and a top of the 'Top 15 Sifters of the Past Week' for a bit before I got bumped (go eric3579!) =)
Thanks for all the support, I have had so much fun! Now, Lock, prepare the Felhunter for battle, we have to take over Silithus before heading to the Outlands!
